Easter 2009

After taking the adventurous route coming up on Wednesday, I had to take advantage of the weather on Thursday and went venturing. Look at all the sink holes!

Can you say dueling banjos

Most of the passes had gravel and salt all over the place due to the snow two nights before. Though this road was a bit white, it was clear enough to have fun on.

I really need to quit using the map to find north-south paths around here. I found one road that makes the dragon look like a freeway. Then I found this scary road that made the other road look like a freeway. Picture the road below with an F-150 coming at you around a blind corner. I also found the absolute worst decreasing radius curve I have every seen. Picture the C-3 logo and you just about got it.

On Friday night we got together at the creek and cooked Brats on the grill for dinner.

On Saturday morning we did our best to drive the poor waitress crazy. At first it was just two couples, MTB & Datallone, Jlnance & Amanda, then Ulywife and I roll in, then FB&D, then Twig & Pabst. Everytime the waitress returned there was another couple at the table and we had to get creative on how to get us all into the closet we were in. I know someone took pictures but not me. After breakfast with the crew we took off north to Chistianburg for Buell demos. As the day went on we lost couples until it was MTB, Datallone, Ulywife and me. We had a lot of fun though. I finally got a chance to demo the 1125 (both R & CR) and was nice enough to remind the ride leaders to remind everyone after I rode not to ride aggressive. Hey, it was not my fault, who sweeps on a Blast?

But on Sunday I did have the camera out and we took a few shots. No way you can come up to the creek with out a picture in front of '55.

MTB got a chance to fish.

With Dude's Spiderman fishing pole.

The group hunting eggs, fishing, and playing Corn Hole on the lower forty.

Later that afternoon, MTB, Datallone, Smilee and I took a loop around some of the back roads in the area. No way to have a bad ride around all these sink holes. It was a fun weekend and we are ready to do it again.
