Why are threads in storm fronts organized from a to z instead of according to date? Its really frustrating trying to figure out if any topic has been updated. Is this an accident or is it done this way on purpose for a reason I dont understand?

I wrote the Custodians an e-mail asking if they could change the way posts here are displayed. I asked that it be like the other boards.
Let's see if they can do it

I always search for "new threads since I last logged on" and that allows a summary of everything.

Yep, what Court said. And I have to check it at least once a day or I end up with 2 or more hours of New Posts to read. Definitely my main entertainment for the day.

Court, I dont log in everyday and if I am doing it right I have hours of posts to go through. What a PITA. Why not just change it to the way the Quick board is? Is it that difficult to do? What is the possible benefit to doing it this way?

Also checking from a cell phone, like I am now, a search is not possible.

+1 billion on how the a-z thing sucks.

if enough people agree, can we get it switched to the "newest thread" style?

To all...
Send a request to change the MN board format to the site administrators.

New needs to be on top...like the other boards.

I'm sick of missing stuff!!!

WTF??????????

Att Court. (figured you would see that in your search)

I always search for "new threads since I last logged on" and that allows a summary of everything.

This is not entirely true. This only works if you search daily. If I ever go a day without checking it, the search comes up blank. I assume it is too much info. Then I need to go back to staring at all the dates.

Another problem with the search is most of the time I just pop in for a few minutes here and there. If I don't have time to go through the whole search list before I log, it starts over, and I'm back to staring at dates trying to find what I missed.

Honestly, you have to agree, this is more complicated than it needs to be.
