Them Gheto boys have nothing on ya! I don't even think they take pictures of there bike before any event like a simple ride...

AAWW eric you make each post so special!
it's been a long winter, the bike feels amazing, and the engine cradle didn't rip off.
Stuart i'm game for a ride tomorrow, gotta hit the dump in the a.m. but i'm figuring maybe heading out around 10 or so. |

Getting back online 23 minutes later to brag to the board guys you actually Took a ride.(if 23 minutes counts as one).....Priceless!!!

Busy day.... shakedown on the rattle trap... primo(think the rockers are getting due for replacement though, REALLY noisy, oh well, run it to failure)....
Got the injectors and turbo on the truck finally....
All I can say there is... wow...

Shake down run. Test #2 happened with out me? Still no issues to report.
Well after 2 months of lay-off,(I enjoyed and desereved) I'm back workin. New job/company in Stoughton, started the first of March. I don't operate excavators no longer. Now I ware three hats, dozer/loader/compactor operator. Pays the same,little better bennies. Jest a new name on the check, job hopper.
So wich is better Alex's in Stoughton, or Fox Lady on the Brockton line? A dirty old man NEEDS to know! Guess half the fun is in finding out for your own damb self. |

Shake down run, test #3. Fail! Get the new clutch pack good and hot and it was dragin jest a wee little bit. So I put a fresh set of spark plugs in. Hope that helps.
How many shake down runs are need for a ole tuber? Or is that the curse, ride it take it home and tweek it again? Its an endless searies of test runs with these things I tells ya! Long live tubers.

Nah...
I need to look a little closer, I think one of my fittings might need to be snugged up...
And, for some reason, it appears to be a little oil behind the drive sproket... if thats the case, and I blew that seal AGAIN, I think my prolem is a clogged vent hose/tube, and I will be pissed if I have have to tear it all apart AGAIN...
But, I am going to use some brake cleaner, and then steam clean it tonight, and ride it in tomorrow, and get a feel for the leaks...

stu, Goodhues powder coating in derry, really good guys to deal with, and good prices. they are the ones that did my wheels and engine cradle.

shawn should have done some fading to dull down the "i work in the road" orange. Word of advice, if you get anything powdercoated and they ask if you want it cleared..... Don't say no and then go home and hit it with rattle can.
