Just picked up the bike last week and love it. I figured I would stop over here and say hi! Turns out one of your members and I have met (kind of) a couple of years ago. In a it's a SMALL WORLD kind of moment I shot jlnance a PM over on ADV riders asking if it was him that took a picture of me about 2 years ago. As it turns out it was. You can read about the encounter here.

Welcome Jerry! Jlnance is a good guy and was actually heading to our house the day that pic was taken.

I hope you enjoy your new XT. Glad you found your way to our little corner of BadWeB.

Kristi

Thanks I was visiting my buddy (Noseed). He also bought a XB12X and that is his Harley in the back of the picture. Wow, I still can't believe that was him...

We met Deeson and Angela last year. He and my husband, Carlos (M2nc), have gone out on Deeson's dual sports and are ready to go again. It's truly a small world. In fact, that's Carlos on the left side of the picture, Jim is on the right!

Next time you're heading to Washington, let us know. We'll pull together a C3 ride. We had several of us out yesterday riding down through Jacksonville. Deeson and Angela didn't go because of their son's birthday.

I really cant believe how small the world can be! J told me of passing the Uly on the way to my house and that someone took his photo. I really cant believe how it all worked out. Here is a pic of Angela on the City X I recently got her.

I sent you an e-mail linking the pic that Jlnance posted. From other pics of the day, there is a pic of the Triumph and your HD parked in Washington with Carlos and Jim. Who knew we'd meet a year later!

If you remember our ride to Jacksonville last year, there is the pic of the 3 Ulys and Brankin's tuber...well Brankin now has a red XT as well. He's added a firebolt front end and some other mods.

Truly is a small world. We had a great ride that day and another one yesterday. I hope we get the chance to ride with you in the future.

Noseed - I dig the Hero Blue! Good choice I hope she likes it.

I now can't wait to meet you guys!!! Deeson and Angie are pretty much our best friends. We were in their wedding and they were in ours. Angie if you are reading this I have your new mirrors!!! (I jacked the Aprilia mirrors off Angie's bike for our 2 up ride in the mountains last weekend) I will send them down with Kevin and Lorie on Friday. Or hell I might just ride them down and we can have a mini C3 ride to that same restaurant and have lunch!!

I think that sounds like a good plan! It would be nice to meet you and see Deeson and Angie with her new CityX.
