I'd just as soon meet up with you guys on the road. It's a backtrack for me to go from work (Framingham) down to Uxbridge, then back up 495.
I'll meet you off the route 20 west (Northboro) exit from 495 at the McDonald's. Is that cool?.
Edit:
Just a thought: My Mom-in-law just got out of a week-long hospital stay (breathing problems). Think we could make a side trip into Hudson for a quick visit? I promise no more than a half-hour.

No I didn't...bad night of sleep...sleep walking around the house trying to get out (almost literally)...didn't think it would be a good idea to take a nap in my helmet on the ride in.
I should be out of here right at 3:30 though, 20 minutes to get to the bike, 10 minutes to let Calia out and change then I'll hit the road with a minor change in meeting place. Exit 25 off 495 for Route 85/290 - meet at the shopping plaza at the end, it's either a shaws or star market or stop and shop - I can't remember. If we are headed into Hudson we need to be up that way more anyway - there are fast food joints up there to grab some grub. Thats faster for me to get to from home...
No problem joining you for the in-law visit.
Haven't looked up directions to the bike show yet... |

I know that area-- I used to live there. It's a Stop & Shop. But right now I'm not sure if she'll be OK for a visit. We'll play it by ear.

Here's the directions as given on the website:
New England Regional Directions
From the North (from NH):
Take Route 3 South to Exit 35 (towards Tyngsboro).
After crossing Tyngsboro Bridge, take an immediate right onto Pawtucket Blvd.
Continue on Pawtucket Blvd. for 5 miles.
Heritage Farm Ice Cream and the event grounds is 1-mile after Dunkin' Donuts.
From the West (Burlington):
Take Route 3 North to Exit 32.
Take the first right off of the exit onto Drum Hill Road.
Go straight through 5 sets of lights (when they're green lights).
After crossing the Rourke Bridge, turn right onto Pawtucket Blvd.
Heritage Farm Ice Cream and the event grounds will be 1 mile from the bridge
Using Route 93 (From the North or South):
Take Exit 46 (Rt. 110/113 - towards Methuen).
Follow rotary to exit for Rt. 110 toward Lowell.
Follow Rt. 110 (Along Merrimack river) for 12 miles.
Heritage Farm Ice Cream and event grounds will be 1 mile from McDonald's
I think Hudson would be an easy place for Eric and Erik and Greg to meet Scotty and I.

I'm off to meet up with Scotty.
We are meeting at the Stop & Shop in Hudson.
Take 290 East to the very end (pass 495) and the plaza will be right in front of you, or from 495 North take the exit 25 and head towards Hudson/Marlboro (not 290).
Call me cell. If we don't hear from you we'll meet up with you at the flag pole at the show.

Home safe, too. Greg and I were moving at convoy speed closing in on Milford when I noticed a strange traffic pattern: the road ahead was open except for one car all by itself, and no one was passing it. I hit the high beams, and whaddya know? The car had a light bar on it. So did you have to hang behind that cop all the way to 95 Greg?
