i will be riding up. it is only a little over an hour from my house (highway)i believe. depending when i leave i may take back roads. i would think it would take a good part if not all day. he is providing lunch for us all. (dogs/burgers). his dyno is at his house and his wife is cooking he said. rob from "robs dyno" came HIGHLY recomended from AL at American Sport Bike. so it should be interesting. Techno has some interesting programs comming out from what i understand. few minor bugs need to be worked out. but should be fun. i'm going for the knowledge as i have D.L. and i love learning this stuff!!

thats GREAT on the new place? things looking good for ya then? when do you work till? when is a good time to call ya?

I'm patiently waiting for a map from Al and crew for my setup. can't wait to ditch the freekin' TFI.

any info is appreciated.

i have the direct link set up. there really isn't a map out for my set up and nothing in the near future either.(see profile) i do fool around with the cells, a/f, accell tables to get my bike where it is now. very close to perfect. the dyno time w/ the big hitters this weekend should prove positive for my bike. these guys know there $hit. should be a good learning experience and a chance for me to pick there brains. if ya need any help w/ anything just ask. if you are up for a ride just let us know..always up for some fun on the bike.

yea that tfi stinks..not really made for a bike w/ closed loop system. i agree, ditch it! get the direct link AND the software/cables and such so you can do it ALL yourself. once you do it a few times it is a really good program. a/f resets, tps resets and so on.

you would need to buy a key and software/cables to be able to do it. (400.00) and then get the ecm tuned for your combination. the key "locks" itself to your spacific ecm so it can "talk"to the ecm and it can't be used for any other ecm but that one. craig is doing it for free as he needs an xb for the demo bike while he gets tought how to do this on his dyno by the "techno-reserch" guys and "robs dyno" also. he offered free service if i could be there for the demo on sunday as the bike that was going couldn't make it for some reason. should be on the dyno most of the day. i have no idea what he normally charges for this service. i can find out or get his info to you.

Damn man that sux, that sounds like a fun ride. I won't be back in the country until the 30th. Let's try to plan something when I can stay in the country for more than a week. As of right now I don't have any travel plans for the month of august but that can always change.

Have fun and stay safe.

All this traveling ain't so bad. Check out this chicks I met in Singapore.

FYI: Route 118 in the White Mountains kicks some serious arse!! Just thought I'd throw that out there. If you want an extremely twisty road with great scenery (if you have time to look), this is a great road!

he is taking my bike 2nd week in aug. to tune it in perfectly...

Ok Ok what's the deal with the "HH II" ride????? I just read the tread in the Quick Board forum. I am a sucker for cool rides and just noticed that a bunch of peeps from this site are getting together for this thing. Curious minds want to know.

Seems like it is sometime in Oct?? If I know of something in advance then I can let my boss know. That way I can be in the country for a good ride with some Buellers!!!

I'm hot for Bear mountain.Usually is a mob scene at the summit on weekends. All sorts of bikes too.And i know the way as i've been a coupla' times. The only drag for us around RI is 'ya gotta' make time.Route 84 west cuts right through Connecticutt and i do it at an average 80-100mph for daytripping. Can be there inside 3 hours. The "Headless Horsemen" run is a must see too. Some cool people will put us up for like free!

ducxl---doing breakfast saturday? want me head up your way or you heading down here?
newport area this weekend or find new spot?

when ya want to do a "practice" run to bear mountain? any suggestions? i'm thinking weekend of the 12-13th. or 26-27th.

my bikes on the dyno for the 20th. so i don't want to break it that weekend.

OBVIOUSLY any other hooligans wishing to ride are all more than welcome to join.
