What's the difference between the police models and the standard Road King and Glide? And, how does a Road King compare with a Road Glide? I'm getting closer to doing some shopping in earnest.

Saddle bag lids have "pucks" on them. Something to do with the radio. Also I saw a police model once that had the spotlights mounted to the crash bar. Air ride seat and something hooked up in the electronic speedo to make that "pursute" light come on.

Other main difference for used bikes is I bet if you buy a used bike from a police department it will have had more regular servicing than a lot of personn;ly owned do.

Actually . . . there are some KILLER deals.

Dealers learned years ago they could buy the P models cheap, lease them to their local dept for $1/yr, take it back, "civilianize" it and make good money.

Many are low miles in immaculate shape.

Nice pics Court. I love the ones of Tramps bike. I know that bike is not everyones cup of tea but I like it. It is well ridden like a bike should be. He has the best parts of the S2 exposed for everyone to see. I have saved a few pics of that bike. If I ever wrote a book about Buell owners Tramps bike would have to be in it.
