that so many dealers are getting out of the business... We've had what... three posts in the last week of new Buellers? That's only the ones that find their way here.

Hey, I ran into a guy at an event at the local Harley dealer today that owns a XB9S. I told him about the site, so hopefully that will be another new member.

You mean "there are so many dealers that never got into the business"....

We actually "lost" one in modesto. The rest never arrived.

modesto is where i bought my XB9SX last sept.
it was from a 'lot' of bikes that showed up at their door right after they dropped the buell line....got a killer deal

if they weren't so far (70miles each way)...i'ld take all my business to them...too much other stuff (kids mainly)on my plate to go there regularly...i would otherwise

so are you out there in that area of the valley?

Visited Modesto once while I was in the neighborhood on business hacking an MRI machine. Great people, great store, we will miss them.

I just got the new enthusiast mag in the mail today, they had a good article on the Buell/HD relationship.

I'm not sure the dealers are dropping the Buell brand, its just that Buell is, only allowing a certain number of Dealers now. Here in Kansas City we went from around 3 or 4 Buell servicing dealers to 1.

found their add in Cycletrader on a friday, called to be sure the price was correct, they said yes it was, went the next day and brought one home...about $8000 out the door

The last time I was at my closest Buell dealer (100 miles away) I saw this guy getting checked out on his new XB12S. I just had to watch & chat. He & his wife was all smiles. The dealer was doing a much better job of explaining the bike. But the real eye opener was that the lovely couple looked to be in their 70s! Or older even. Wow!
It looks like my shop is staying with Buell. Just wish the local Harley dealer would pick up the line. People are interested here but few will put up with the closest shop 100 miles away.
