The front jug is leaking oil pretty badly...time to replace the head gasket.

While the engine is rotated, what other work is generally recommended?

Intake seals, cooling fan if old, insulate the inner frame surfaces with Thermo-tec (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/the-13575).

Great suggestion, Hughlysses. I'll do that.

I'm ordering a mess of gaskets/seals from St. Pauls. Anything missing?

Head gasket rarely causes an oil leak, now rocker covers and the big seal around the PCV breather likes to leak. Pushrod o-rings?

You're probably done with the job by now; but if not I'd replace the O2 sensor.
