Anyone have a parts list or some insight into what's needed to put an R front end on my S. Has anyone done this? Was there anything tricky involved. I am looking for a good winter project, so the help is appreciated. | ||

 You mean something like this? Firebolt Fairing Fairing Support Windscreen Firebolt Headlight assembly Firebolt top triple clamp and bars (sold seperate) Firebolt ignition switch Firebolt front brake line You will keep the rest, including the gauge cluster and clutch line. You will need to adapt the wiring for the firebolt headlights as the lightbulbs are different plugs. | ||

The hardest part was getting spacers made for the headlights to be lined up since on the "R" the ECM is the spacer. Otherwise its pretty straight forward. You do have to get creative with the headlight wiring connections but nothing a basic DIYer couldn't handle. Add ons to the list of parts: All the screws used for the firebolt pieces on the fairing support. I can't remember how many exactly but there are a few of them. And the bolts for the windscreen. |
