Plugs, bolts-whatever. looking for something pre drilled so I can safety wire these buggars for track use. Just cant seem to find them pretty aluminum ones that are 1/2" 20 nf. I'llprobably just drill the ones I got- just thought I'd ask.

I hand drilled mine.
Just go slow, low rpm, use oil (it helps the cutting).

Why are they drilling the threads in that pic!? Haha

Indespensible tool for sure, but I still had to do it by hand in the soft jaw vice for the drain plug.

Teeps -

Yea...that tool is NO good for drilling the faster head. The fastener needs to be "locked" in place so it can't rotate, and is fully supported, not hanging out one end of the tool.
I have a couple of tools I use, depending what I'm drilling, from a small drill press vice, to a 9" jaw vice, to a tool I made to old things inline and square so they can't move.

And yea, in the case of drilling a drain plug, the tool shown above...is NOT a good choice.
