Hey XBees, because of my recent transplant I thought I would tinker a bit. I took the stock muffler off. Started it a couple of times to hear how loud it really was. Decided that I would wait to modify exhaust. Re-installed the stock muffler. Now the front cylinder is not firing, or if it is,not like it should. I used WD-40 on the exhaust header and the rear cylinder evaporates instantly, the front just drips to the ground. The pipe itself feels mildly warm, as I can wrap my hand around it. What gives? Any suggestions or info is greatly needed & appreciated. Doc says I can ride first week of DEC. I don't want to miss that chance due to bike not running. HELP : (

Fouled plug in the front cylinder?
Loose plug wire to the coil?

Probably a fouled plug from starting it up for a few minutes and then shutting it off and starting it again. They don't like that.

I fouled the plug when I did that. In this case I think its more from not having the exhaust in place based off the amount of flame coming out of the end of the header on deceleration : D

I appreciate the suggestions. Looks like I'll go ahead and change the plugs. Daves? Got any of the hi performance plugs in stock? How about the K&N filter? Shoot me an email with your phone number and I will try to call as soon as I can. Will you be working the weekend? If any body else has any other suggestions, please holler. Sounds like I got the advice I needed, but the more info I have going under the hood so to speak, the better I feel. JIM
