ran great, I blew a few shifts, hit the rev limiter several times. man these things NEED more power on the straights, I got my @$$ handed to me on the back and front straight, and I mean BLOWing by me. still fun tho. I looked at the speedo 3xs at the end of the front straight and 115 was it. I was surprised to hear everyone say how good it sounded, I thought I'd get a bunch of crap about it. I'll have to get a video clip together. damn helmet cam has not come in yet, and yesterday was the reason I ordered it. b*st**ds |

Yeah I want to start doing track days with mine after I get it back together. I worried that the exhaust would be to loud for the track though and that they would tell me to get out. |

Will do. It is looking like October as September is all full up for me with Road Atlanta and the BRAG R the R. Are the 3%ers going to the superbike race? I may need someone to hang out with. Can you give me advice on where to stay? I just bought my ticket but I have not booked a room yet. |

Welcome to the sickness, brodah. I can tell you are hooked. Was this a speed track or more of a technical track? |

October sounds good! I have not taking a roll call yet for the AMA event but I know at least a few of us will be there. As far as lodging, Braselton is sorta in no mans land so nothing is going to be extremely close. < 20 min away Suwanee - Atlanta Falcons training camp but not much else Buford - plenty of food and beverage Lake Lanier - most scenic and most expensive Jefferson - close and probably lease expensive Gainesville - plenty of everything you need and closest to great riding areas http://www.roadatlanta.com/accom.lasso |

I think it had both.. I could only get 110-115 in the front straight and the japs were going at least 20+mph faster. the back side #3 has a big downhill into some twistys, I hated that downhill part, on the brakes hard, front end shaking, end wiggling. out of 4 into 5,6,7 was friking cool -when I had the right line anyway. off a little on 5 then 6-7 are all screwed up.. need more TIME. 4-5 I was getting passed ALOT, I had the thing pin'd the 'bus stop' was very hard for me, not slowing down enough. thats where I went in the dirt a little bit.. (only once tho) we had 8 20min sessions with 20min school and 20 min q&a. I had a instructor follow me for a few laps, then I followed him, when we came in he said all the things I was doing wrong/right. I had 3 of them say the same thing, I'm not getting off the bike enough, I thought I was but I see the pics and I'm not off at all. I have to work on that. |

Just had my first track experience today. Not an official "track day" but an advanced rider course. We got plenty of track time on a 3/4 mile small track with 18 turns. The fastest I got up to on the straight section was 86mph (GPS, no I wasn't watching!). Many people were interested in the Buell, since most of the bikes there were SV650's and the like. I had a blast, can't wait to go back for the intermediate sessions next year! May have pics from the photographer service, for now this is all I have after I got home (forgot to bring camera). Next time I'm going to try to bring a few more Buells there! Otherwise our local BRAG president wants to secure a day at Brainerd next summer. Front tire Rear tire
