Any buell model that has a front brake line longer than an S model but that is shorter than a Uly cable?

My bike is an S model with Uly bars. The S line works but I have to run it outside the fork tube and the ULY looks stupid because its too long.

Maybe the STT is in-between the S and X. American Sportbike has a different part# for S and SS. ??? Not sure what the difference is in length, but they must differ a little. Froggy will know.

I ended up getting a custom one made up when I switched calipers. A bit spendy, but you can get any length you want that way.

Just checked it and from a 07 stt it's almost 80 centimeters between the eyes.

I actually just asked this question to American Sport Bike as I was concerned about my bar swap. I have a 2005 SCG that the PO converted to a regular XBS with the cross roads drop bars. My concern was all the cables were different lengths and would be an issue when I installed fat bars and 1" risers.

This was their response:

"A Uly line would likely be way too long, between the wider bars and the taller suspension. The XB9SX, XB12SS, XB12Scg, and XB12S all used the same front line (H1531.1AD), and folks that have put 1” risers on regular lightnings have gotten the line to work. But if it is too short, an 08 XB12Stt brake line (H1531.1AS, $37.50) "

I have since installed the new bars and riser yesterday by routing the cable behind the fork. An extra couple inches would have given it better placement, but it works and is safely routed.
