The idler broke for my chain drive. Ripped off a tooth and cracked. I ordered a new one from EBR but that might take awhile. Anyone know of something else I can use in the mean time? Any other bikes that use something like it? Where are they sourcing the sprockets from? My bearing looks good. My friends tell me to put a skateboard wheel haha |

My old KLX250 lost a chain tensioning wheel and I replaced it with a skateboard wheel. It's been there since 1988. Skateboard wheels come in a variety of colors too. Have fun! |

You might be able to find the Dayton 89005 idler pulley at a local auto parts shop.

I wonder how long a big block of high density plastic would last? The stuff they make cutting boards out of? |
