Anyone have an XB12 primary gears and chain set they want to get rid of cheap? Thinking that while my engine is ripped apart I might as well replace the primary drive and see if I like it.

So!!!! We're talkin' a 9 with 12 primary gears.......................
I think your gonna love it!!!!!!
I also think that if you do a fuel mapping you will be more than happy with the results. It makes a lot of sense to me. You won't get the torque of the 12, but when you can rev the motor a little higher...............
Keep an update goin. I want to hear the outcome of this. Cheers Greg!

It should also increase the fuel mileage a small amount when I'm on the highway portion of my commute. I never get going early enough to take the back roads to work, so highway it is, on the way home is a different story. It should also alter the RPM in city driving to fit a little better, I find myself running around at 3500 most places, dropping down to 3000 would be a welcome change.

It will have a slightly upgraded motor, 1050 kit and a 12TB and injectors so there will be some tuning. Not sure if I'm going to go with the 12 headers. Keeping the heads stock and stock 9 muffler so I'm not sure what extras I'll really get if anything. I am thinking of drilling the TB for a pressure sensor and playing with that feature of the ECM to see if I can make it operate a little better if it knows what the engine is doing more accurately. Still in the idea phase because I can't find the fitting I want (except in nylon). Need about a 10-32 thread to 1/16 hose barb made out of brass or stainless and I can't seem to find anything. the alternate might be JB Weld to hold whatever I can find in place.
