Since coming back from Assen I seem to have up the paint on the buell.

Now what colour do you think I should spray it.
Need some serious advice.
Happy you got any idea what would really set it off.
Dont want to go down the route of a MENTAL flip paint but:

Fiat Navy Blue which is a pearl, in the sun it goes from dark navy to a purple on the edges.

Or that Rover Purple pearl which goes that wierd pinky blue.

Anyone got any others that would look pretty good.
Got one of out sprayer dudes who will do it for about £100 with a 2pac laquer which is pretty good.

What would look pretty cool then??

The plastic parts,
Need it to be any colour available on any car.
All I need to do is give him the paint code, he will spray it for me next day.

His work is pretty good!
Cant be special crystal flake jobbies, just colours available on cars.

So pearl/some flip stuff/flat/metallic is fine.
But I need to know the car and colour so he can replicate it.

:-)

So anyone seen anything interesting??

Wow just went to a paint shop.
Seen a wicked colour.

Its a base metallic "Pearl" Blue, you can get a a special "Magic Tint" over the top with give is a tinge of Red/or Blue/ or Green.

Looks fantastic!!!

Dunno if to go for the blue with magic Red or the blue with Green Tinge.

Cool eh!!

Pearl Blue with the "Magic Tint" of Blue sounds nice.
The red tint may make it look too purple, and to me I just don't care for green. Although Misato's bike turned out rather nice.

We shall see.....
I just ordered the paints I need.
Cost was £100

Going for a Metallic pearl blue bottom coat, then getting a Special Green metallic Layer to react with the sun over the top of that.
The paint chap thinks it may change upto 4 colours, but we will see what happens.
Will add a 2 Pac Laquer for stone chips.

Paint due in on Wed next week, should be all sprayed up and on the bike by Sat/Sunday 10th!!

My spray man is gonna do all the work for £125

So all in all its about £225 all in!!

I'll post up some pics when I get it all back and on the bike.
