WILL THE 1125R ZTL2 CALIPER FIT AND WORK ON IT?

yes. You need caliper, pads, master cylinder and brake line.

I bought mine at American Sportbike. Everything fit perfectly except the electrical wire connection to the brake lever, but after some bending I made it work. I had the brakes installed at a Harley dealer. Check out my profile picture, they look very nice : )

I also painted my clutch lever from silver to black, to match the ZTL2 black brake lever. If you decide to install the upgraded brakes yourself, run the brake line on the outside of the fork, I believe this was a recall and they changed the brake lines from the inside to the outside on the newer models.

No, the bigger brakes have more feel and power. I know that brake feel is sometimes influenced by brake pads as well, but the previous brakes didn't feel right.

Pick up the caliper from Erik Buell Racing when they open the store back up at the end of the month, it is well worth the cost to upgrade the stock ZTL. Also throw on a radial master cylinder from American Sport Bike.
