It has been a while since I have used my Palm TX to tune my XB. I wanted to get a base map down before I hit the dyno.

I am having problems remembering the correct steps in data logging with the palm and then using Megalog Viewer to sort out the data.

1. On the Palm, I have the choice to log as binary or Text. I think I want to log text but I'm not sure.

2. I cant remember what I have to do once I have logged a run to transfer the file to my laptop. Once I hit "stop" to complete the log, I then look for the log file but can't find it on the Palm. Where does it go? The only thing I can see under my "Documents" icon is a really old log file from 2008. I have a 2gb memory card that it is recording to. I can also go back to Ecmspy and select the "Convert" option to convert a log file between binary and text. It will show the most recent log file under the ECMSPY folder so I know it's there. I just can't find the file when I want to hotsync it to the laptop.

Here is a screen shot of the Datalog option where you can select binary or text as the log file type:

Here is a screen shot of the two log files that show up under the "Convert" option through Ecmspy. One old one and one from today:

Here is a screen shot of the only documents that show up under the "Documents" icon from the main screen on the Palm. I need any log file to show up here so I can transfer it to the laptop:
