The key is...more fuel...!

"Every" engine wants something a little different thAn the next for various reasons. What works on one, is not guaranteed to work well on another, similar or "like" engine.

Yes create our own map. As mike said each bike will require a slightly different map. You will need ecmspy to add fuel to the bike and to do a few datalogs. If you really don't want to mess with the tuning aspect you can always just push a race map to your stock ecm. It will get you closer...but there are still noticeable gains to be had with a tuned fuel/timing map. Go to ecmspy.com and check out the tuning guide. Read it from front to back and DO NOT skip any of the information. It will help you get an idea of what the ecm is doing and what you need to do to correct mistakes in the stock map.
