so all i did was install my hids and put in some engine lights. and now when i take my fuse out to plug my bike into my ecmspy the lights wont turn off. but 2 weeks ago before my hids i would be able to take the fuse out and the lights would not turn on. is the wiring messed up?? i dont see how it can be since all i did was put the hids in.

You shouldn't need to pull any fuses to run ECMspy.

If you also swapped the wires to have both lights on in high beam, pulling the fuse will no longer shut them off...I noticed that after doing the mod on my bike..

Now I understand what you are trying do with the fuses.

The low beam wire for the R versions is on whenever the main power for the ECM is on (yellow wire on the 4 pin connector) since it gets power from the exact same place. So no the headlights will not go out now since the fuse is not used to power the low beam (or trip the relays in your case).
