did some reading on relays because i am having some problems with mine. and i saw that there are old grey relays and newer like white ones or something like that?? is any have some information on that?

I'm pretty sure that the Key Switch, Start and Ignition relays, 31522-00B (pn may be superceded) are interchangeable for the XB models.

They will also be common with Ford parts since the fuse block and relay block are Ford OEM parts. In other words you should be able to get relays at just about any autoparts store if you call it a Ford part.

ohhh really that is really good to hear. since my local harley closed down. ill pull the relay and take it to ford.

More likely to get a good answer from Autozone or Advance (etc.) but the ford dealer should be able to match it if they are motivated enough to look at it and look through the books. The relays are pretty standard so it is more finding the physical size that matches.

And they are cheap, even at HD. I think mine was around $7-$10
