ok Fefe i stand corrected but for being in the N/E you put on ALOT of miles.

V74 I gave FEFE the M2 Cyclone, so she will be test how a high performance engine holds up to racking up alot of highway/touring and stop light to stoplight miles.

V74: I usually stand to the side of the bike, and throw a leg over. Heh heh heh

I've only had it a week. 350 miles down...59,650 to go! LOL

I don't think I will ride the M2 to Ohio this weekend. (Don't let Jake know I said that, though.) It's not all that practical for a 4 day camping trip, I don't have a full face helmet for the part on the turnpike, and I am not yet sure if I am ready for a 9-10 hour day on it. (Sure, I can get there in 6, but I have a tendency to take the scenic route to get places.)

So the total cost of this build is what, around 5000?

I need to rebuild my top end. Harley won't honor their warranty since I brought it in 3 months after my warranty was up.
I was thinking about doing a big bore kit but I've read that there will be issues with reliability. I don't want to break the bank doing the rebuild, any advice what I can add without spending too much? I'm looking at a budget of around $2000-3000. (less is always better though)

Migs yes the bigger the better but the trick is to make sure the air HAS to go through the oil cooler . If it has an easier path the air will go around the radiator thus defeating the purpose. AND even MORE important is the fact Buells inject the cool oil to hit the underside of the piston crown , the hottest part in any engine .

Black and Chrome Andy can do the job for that or LESS using Good components instead of the deales OEM=did it come from china? components. Secondly you KNOW the works done by a person thats so good S&S sub contracts for thier R&D instead of a dealer who might have a kid just out of MMI lol.

If you have any more questions my personal email is ends@comcast.net
My heath keeps me from comming on allthe time so excuse any lateness in replies.

Guys ( and gals =I didnt forget you Fefe lol) Im going to write anouther thread on this Big bore Firebolt project later to try to condence this and the ...economy performance package one to shorten post secondly to make it clear whats the differance between the two . This way fellow buellrs are more informed on what to expect of both performance levels. its a matter of - do you want to have THE fastest bike in the neiborhood/county like my Build? OR do you want to be on the SAME level of performance as a new ZX10R or Gsxr1000 or the economy performance package(0-60mph 20-80mph NOT top speed)

Im trying to get ANDY or Bill on here but they are SO dam busy. Drag race season is JUST about over. Andy is a legend engine builder in drag racing circles so he has to go to meets to pick up/drop off engines. When an engine cost 50,000-70,000( top fuel)You have to be at the meet to make sure all goes well lol.
