Hey guys I'm in LA for the week and need a highly recommended dealer to work on the bike. Steering head bearings need replacing and I already have the parts.

If you're RIGHT in the LA area, call Bartels, ask for Mitsu (Higbee's mechanic from last AMA season)- he might be busy - a week is tight with this being the riding season. If not Mitsu, then Memphis or David. Otherwise call the number that I just PM'd you.

Monday IS a bad day in So CA - the shops that are open just have sales... dang near all service departments are closed.

Hey Slaughter, maybe you could lend your bike to me this weekend...I'm heading to a friends place in Idyllwild (sp?). The road up (and down too I suppose) is incredible!

Just got this... a bit too late. It's race weekend, the streetbikes are buried behind piles of tools and wheels until Sunday...

If Idylwild weren't so far away, it'd be on my short list of REGULAR rides!
