OK, so I finally have my header off, pull the old gaskets out and compare to the new gaskets I bought... They are not the same. I see discussion about using a "generic" EVO gasket which is apparently just a flat ring and I think that is what I bought.

Here is what the old ones look like:

Am I screwed or OK with these gaskets?

What pipe are you running?

You'll be OK with either. The Screaming Eagle type gasket works well with about every type of header - especially aftermarket.

Pay attention to pressing the new gaskets into place - don't kink them by putting them in crooked and then forcing.

On bolting the headers up: Proper torque is important (don't trust your "feel")
