So how bad will my '06 XB12Ss run if I put the stock exhaust back on without a remap. According to a receipt that came with my bike it has a "Buell Race Map". It also has the airbox delete mod which I would eventually like to return to stock.

I can't answer your question, but is there any reason you wouldn't go back to the stock map?

Thanks Brian. I may take you up on that. I'm still feeling it out and want to see how the stock can sounds. I'll let you know. You gotta come out to one of the LI ADV get togethers. Great bunch of people.

Software is a piece of cake. You do need the hardware though. Cable & PC.

I'll make out to one of the adv rides sooner or later. The ECM is yours if you need it. It's just sitting in my tool box. Looking for a good home.

On a side note. I still know a couple of guys that can do the tps reset for you. So you don't have to go to the dealer and get raped for ten minutes worth of work.
