I wanted to know if a 1125r front fairing could be installed on the xb12ss? I really want the fairings on the lightning now.

It bolts right on once you got all the parts. Issues off the top of my head would be the key, headlight wiring, and gauge cluster mounting.

Probably easier/cheaper to put a Lightning tail on an 1125R. Interesting idea though.

I am yet to see someone actually attempt to swap the gauge cluster, so at the moment the answer is no. You want to find out for us? : )

Isn't the top portion of the 1125 fairing bracket taller? I thought that was the case. I was wanting to do this on my Firebolt...

I have one on my race bike. The gauge clusters are not interchangeable. Headlights might be a pain in the @ss as well.

that fairing bolted on as if it was built for the Firebolt?

I have yet to dig into anything involving the work, but think the lights would be fairly simple as long as the firebolt harness will support it. The cluster is a different story....although I think the firebolt cluster could stay!

Using the stock XB fairing stay with tabs off the top to the mirror mount holes to raise it up. The stock XB stay isn't tall enough. I'll post pics tonight. The riser tabs were made by Gearhead (Ralph) from here on the badweb and a fellow racer
