Just thought I'd introduce myself and my new toy. My names Dave I live about 35 miles from London England been riding for over 30 years. Had all sorts of bikes from Triumphs jap bikes etc, been riding Harley's for a while and been thinking of something different to go with my present Harley. Almost bought an ex demo Ulysses about six weeks ago, glad I didn't after reading about HD's questionable decision to stop Buell production, but every cloud has a silver lining and I got this. It's an 08 but never registered until last Monday, even got the custom paint job thrown in, the shop had it done for the show room. so far I'm very impressed.

I also just bought my first Buell. An 09 UlyXT. Couldn't resist when they slashed their prices. I've always liked Buells but I like other bikes too. I have a 96 Guzzi 1100 Sport that I will never part with. She has 123,000 miles on her and runs better than new.
Now that I've purchased the Buell I'm going to have to sell my 04 Triumph Tiger. That was a great bike. Put 89,000 miles on it. But after riding the Uly I just don't want to ride it any more. The Tiger was the first bike I ever had in 35 years of riding that had more than 2 cylinders. The Uly fits me better and fits my riding style better as well.
I also should sell the 75 ElectraGlide that's been sitting neglected in my garage. I bought it as a project bike but haven't touched it in two years. Just haven't had time. Wish I had time as it's an unmolested complete original.
Anyway, been lurking here a couple of weeks now and I check in two or three times a week. Looking forward to learning alot more about the Buell.
