I got an 03 xb9r that starts and runs fine, go to put it in gear and that is when the fun begins, pretty hard to get into gear but when you do it does really want to go forward.

Now my questions:
Should I replace the whole tranny, if so
How hard is it to do or will I have to split the cases.

What are some other options if any?

Thanks
Jimmy

Clutch adjustment seems like that may be the answer. As said before, these are built pretty solid as the tranny goes because you have to split the cases. No small feat! As a good precaution, check your chain tension and play. Can never hurt.

Cool thanks for the advice.
I will re-check everything this weekend.
