you will need a TPS reset after you do the race ECM. What else are you doing to the bike?

Wait until you have the pipe and filter first before installing the race ecm.

The race ecm simply swaps with the stock ecm. (plug & go)

Two screws and two big (one black, one grey) connector plus a tiny little connector between the two big ones on the 12's.

If you can do your own tps reset, do it right after the ecm swap.

If you need a dealer for the reset another option is to make the appointment for the reset.

Put the pipe and filter on then ride to the dealer.

In the dealer's parking lot remove stock ecm and install race ecm then let them do the tps reset.

Check everything to see what tools you need to take with you before hand and have them packed & ready.
