Looking at a ecm for my 2003 Buell XB9S. However the site says this will not fit? This is the part number. Will it fit my bike? 82007-05Y Fits '05-later XB9R and XB9SX models. $209.95 | ||

Here's my answer from the other forum: The '03 stock and the '03 race are the same. Only the map is different. If you want, you simply apply the new map and you're good. The later models use different chips between the stock and the race so you can't do that. Oops, you didn't say anything about stock or race. My guess is that it will physically fit but the electronics won't "shake hands". Again, later models have different chips. | ||
