I had a battery bolt break off in the battery. Anyone have any experience tapping on a battery? Battery only a month old and HD will not replace it. thanks in advance

Have you tried to back off the piece that broke off? It shouldn't have pressure on it and should back out without damaging the threads.

guys I re-taped the threads today. Bolt wasn't budging. Seems like it will hold up. Had to go with a different bolt size. Machine bolts will work right? I didn't think I needed a certain grade. Thanks!
