10mm X 1.25mm, I believe this is standard thread size for mirror post for motorcycles.

Just went through this last weekend while mounting my GPS - 10MM x 1.25 FINE.

Standard pitch will not get the job done. You need the fine pitch.

i have tried 10mm x 1.25 and 10mm x 1.5 and both do not work still to tight so what do i need

I took my bar-end mirror mounting post and turned them down and threaded 10mm X 1.25mm to fit in the OEM mirror posts.
