I took my 04 12r out twice this year, once last week and then today. Last weeks ride was awesome, no problems. Today, the high was 45 and it started pouring on and off. On my way home, out of nowhere my bike started idling under 1k rpms and would stall sometimes when I'm taking off. I'd have no power and it would sound like a piece, but after a few minutes, it would go away and run like normal, then a few minutes later it would do this again. I'm thinking it has to do with the fuel stabilizer I put in it, since I haven't run a clean tank through her yet and maybe one or both spark plugs are kind of gunked up. I would think Stabil should burn off fine though. I never had a problem in the rain before so I can't see that being a factor. Any suggestions?

It sound more like an ignition problem to me. Water causing the problem.

You think? I was thinking this too at first, but I've ridden way longer in way harder rain and never had this happen. If it was water causing this problem, it would have ran bad the whole way home instead of in spurts.

alright, so I'm replacing the wires..any suggestions as to which kind to buy? I can go pick some up from the dealer, but wires should last more than 9k. Anybody order any Magnecor or other brand with good results?
