posted this in the KV too but there is way more traffic here. When getting ready to change intake gaskets, i noticed a fitting on the throttle body that has no hose connected to it, is this normal and what is it for?

There is a vacuum hose that goes there IIRC from the carbon cannister. If left open it is a big vacuum leak.

After you cap it your bike should run much better without the massive vacuum leak,
especially at lower speeds.

Thanks, I've had the bike for over 4 years and this is the first i've even noticed it... wonder why there isn't/wasn't anything on there to begin wtih.
