Had a service done today at Gainesville H-D/Buell, and it was one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. Considering that 9 of 10 worst dealer experiences I've had were at H-D/Buell shops- this says a whole lot.

The service dept was attentive, nice, professional & knowledgeable, and the facility was immaculate. Every employee in the showroom and parts dept was friendly and helpful.

I met Buellgator at the parts counter, and we discussed how I just missed meeting Paint_shaker by one day. Buellgator's brother Kevin took excellent care of me in service, and I just can't say enough about what a nice experience it was.

Complete service was done in 2.5 hours, including installing Pazzo levers and using the Amsoil I brought, total cost was $214.00- that's damn reasonable!

This was the first ride over 20 minutes long I've taken since January 3rd (the day the SUV took me out). It's 70 miles from my driveway to their service dept door, and I'm absolutely worn the "F" out.

Just wanted to say thanks, and let everyone know that G'ville Buell is worth going out of your way for.

awesome that you had such a great experience, your luck sounds like mine though! I've only been in one dealer that I liked. And way to get back on the bike man! I wiped out on a patch of gravel back in november and shattered my right leg in 4 places so i know how it is...got right back on it the day after being released from the dr though! Personally I'd rather be on 2 wheels...

I never tire of reading about good dealers.

When you find a good one, give them as much support as you can so that they stay happily and firmly in the Buell game.

San Diego Harley; one of the BEST services I have had for any vehicle, especially the Kettner store!!

Buddy of mine was taking his bike to Sweetwater Harley for service until they bent his rim on his Uly and they stood there flat footed and lied to his face. The rim supposedly bent after the time they mounted the tire and handed it back to him to take home. Somehow in the back seat of his truck the rim bent!! Between him and his father they have bought around six Harley bikes from them, until this.

Long story short; he tried to reason with Sweetwater Harley without success. Next he called Milwaukee and they flipped him the bird. Finally filed with the BBB and after a month of back and forth he received a check for the replacement.

Now he is taking his Uly to San Diego Harley on Kettner for outstanding service!!

The folks at DHD are great, If I've ever had concerns, they've always made it right, always.

I was dreading their move ( a good deal farther away from me ). I just figured I'd end up having to learn to do all my own work on my bikes or find another shop. They assured me that pickup and delivery was no problem if I want.

Also, they seem to dig Buells. They seem to always have a dozen or more. Kevin and TC and Greg, everyone there has been great.

Greg said they are going to make an effort to have more Buell rides and events. I'm going to Pacific Raceways today to check out a 9 that one of their guys is racing in an endurance event for Buells. I didn't really know about this but sounds cool.

That's the kind of stuff that makes a difference and keeps customers happy.

I wish HD of jackson was like that!! Its unusual for them to have more than 4 or 5 buells. Unfortunately, its kinda understandable though because Buells just aren't a big seller around here, which is why they have a certain lack of respect for them, which is just another reason I love them, cuz why buy what everyone else has(a gsx-r or a r6???) I'd rather ride something thats gonna turn some heads. I'm always the only American iron rider at the local industrial park where everyone stunts, so I catch some flack, but my bike still gets more looks and admiration than most of the jap bikes put together.

Privateers HD/Buell in Halifax, Nova Scotia is top notch. Both sales reps have Buells, as does the service manager and chief tech. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. They reflashed the ECM on my 2 month old XB12Ss before I picked it up when new and it runs great and gets about 45mpg (1400 miles). If traveling to Nova Scotia and Cape Breton, you should be able to count on Privateers for any help.

Good to know that these places are out there. I wish there was one out in the Central Valley here on the left coast. I can and have given my business to great places like our sponsors for parts and am truly thankful for them. Wish you guys were out here.
