I asked this question in the middle of another thread. I don't think anybody noticed so I'll ask in its own thread.

Something I noticed on the ebay pics and American Sport Bike's site. The xb9r/xb12r bars have a couple of holes along the length of them. What are the holes for?

The switch gear right/left both have alignment posts inside them. The holes allow these units to be properly located and also to prevent movement.

There are also holes for the switch wiring fasteners to snap into.
