Ok, so I'm starting to get pretty frustrated. After getting my bike to run good now I'm having clutch problems. After a long ride I noticed that my clutch was grabbing right at the bottom, or near the bar. So I adjusted it as I usually do. Collapsed the cable, turned the adjuster screw until it started to pull the lever and backed it off a quarter turn, and buttoned it all up. Worked great, grabed more in the middle of the lever. I could now down shift through the gears easily. However after maybe a 20 mile ride I'm having the same problem, its grabbing again at the bottom. I'm having a hard time finding neutral, shifting through gears. Why does it keep losing it adjustment? The only thing I can possibly think of is when I had it apart to do the primary swap there was a washer behind the nut on the clutch basket that was conical. Is that washer supposed to be flat and that's where I'm getting my play as it crushes? Please help I can't ride my bike until I get this figured out.

If your lever is getting loose like theres more play in the lever then check the nut on your clutch adjuster to see if its striped or the main nut on the shaft holding your clutch on may be coming loose also. If its neither check the clutch bearing it may be going bad.
One more posibility, it could also be your cable is breaking apart internally. You can usually hear it in the cable when this happens, it will have a notchy feel and sound to it.

ok, I took the derby cover off and pulled the lever and watched the ramp. seems like its get movement right away. I played with it and tightened and loosened the adjuster and pulled the lever. Every time I would do this I could hear something shifting and clicking into place when I pulled the lever. I took off the ramp and ball Assembly and the through out bear. The bearing seems fine but the piece that holds it into the basket is torn on a little around the face where it contacts the snap ring. Here are some pictures of where its rubbing.
