Hello all, I am the new owner of an 08 XB12R, Midnight Black. I get to pick it up tomorrow.

Anyways, my names Shawn, I'm 25, and I am upgrading from a 91 Suzuki Bandit 400. I've been lusting for a Firebolt since the first time I ever saw one in 03/04.

Going straight from the dealer to bike night tomorrow night, so pics may be rare until friday, but I am definitely going to take it out to some local spots for some damn scenic pictures.

My 19 yr old son just upgraded to a new '07 STT from a '92 400 Bandit. Cracked me up when he said "I thought that my Bandit had good power 'till I got this bike"

Prowler, yeah I thought the little bandit had some scoot, then I scared myself to death the first time I ran up through the gears last night, about half throttle revving to 3.5-4k its way faster than that Bandit could ever dream of.

I am very impressed with how the Buell handles, it fits me like a glove. I love the looks I get when people hear it, just a look of confusion and then aww.

Anyways enough useless banter on with the pics.

Some cell phone pics, a hour after picking the bike up this is what I was riding around. Lake Couer D'Alene in Northern Idaho. I promise I will do my best to make sure the Buell is king of these Hwys. As you can somewhat see, the highways around this lake are sportbike heaven, one of my favorite "home turf" rides its approximately a 100 mile loop on four different highways, with at most 10 miles of Slab like conditions.
