I think I already know the answer but I'll ask anyway... Is XB's oil system thermostat controlled so that oil is not circulating through the cooler until it's at a specified temp?

My gut feeling is that the Thunderstorm runs so hot to begin with, that a thermostat isn't necessary but that's just a WAG on my part.

It is not thermostatically controlled.

Full oil flow, all the time.

The HD P+A oil coolers can be had with a thermostat, however.
