Could there be a short somewhere in the bank angle circuit?
Maybe a chaffed wire somewhere grounding to 12 volt and frying the sensor??

I'm no electrician but there has to be an unseen problem causing that many sensors to go bad.

They've checked for shorts and didn't find any.

I can't tell you why I have had so many problems with the BAS.

I just have great luck that way.

Ask your wife, I'm sure she knows where your shorts are.

I know you've checked for shorts in the circuit. I thought the same on my 03. Replaced the sensor to find after much searching the circuit was shorted on the metal battery tray in the worst place to repair the circuit. I wish I had taken a picture of the repair. I only found it after I had sat on the bike to go for a ride and the light went on. But, light would shut of with no codes after I got off it. Good luck.

We'll see how long my current one lasts. If it fails again, I'll go hunting in ernest.

The cool thing is that I have become a specialist in diagnosing BAS failure symptoms. : D
