I have a 2005 XB12S and the bar are bent due to a crash.

I bought some random renthal bars on ebay but theur were much wide than my stockers. I cut an inch off both side but now I cannot fit all of my accessories one the ends of the bar.

I love the way the bars look and feel and would like to still run this style of bar on my XB.

So anybody using a Renthal bar on their xb can recommend a bend that works well on the XB?

I want a little more rise than the stocker, same width as stock, enough room for the throttle and switches and the ability to run a crosspad.

Thanks for posting up. What is the total width of your bar?

Renthal makes an ultra low bar (758-01) that is close to the stock width (28.5"), and about 1" lower than stock.

I would prefer more rise than the stockers if possible.

I just installed the Renthal low bars and a Select seat on my City X. The seating position is right on for me. I'm 6' 1" with a 36" inseam.

9181 - Renthal Aluminum Handlebars, Low rise from americansportbike.com. They are graphite. I had to counterbore the ends a bit to get the Napoleons to fit and I did not cut them any so they are about 2" wider than stock.

I like the way they look but I would prefer a bar with more rise and hopefuly a crossbar.

Jf - Have you considered the XB9 handle bars? I have some on my 2008 XB12S. Love em and their black, not chrome.
