Hi ppl. waiting t pick up my brand new xb12s. 1st new bike I have ever bought. I must be mad!! Last bike was a Yamaha R1 which was awesome but it was boring it was so accomplished. Unless I was doing 130+ it was uncomfortable. I never saw any scenery as I was always in fast as f**k mode and having done 170 and regularly 160+ I have got the speed thing out of my head I want to slow down a bit and the buell is wind in the face and great and I can still get my knees down on roundabouts which is brill fun. I just hope the finish and reliability is good. I do all my own sevicing, or will when the warranty runs out and I like simple things. be back later!!

cheers Trojan,
don't think I'll be able to make that date, but keep in touch as I will probably need someone who has experience of buells !! I purposely went for the "s" model as it is naked and that will keep my speed down which is what I want

Airbox,

Somewhere on this site is a listing of comments from xb owners stating that they as a group, essentially, have had very very very few quality and/or reliability issues with their xb's.

I have had zero with my xb9r at 3000 miles. It is a great bike!

thanks for that mikeyp. Do you know of anyone in the uk who does the accessories like rear huggers, air intakes and also numberplate things to get rid of the tea strainer without having to cut the original bit?
