I want the new 2007 kickstand but I have to defeat the switch, no where to mount it on the new kickstand.   Punkid8888 Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 11:58 am:        Either disconnect it, or just connect it to ground. one or the other should work   New12r Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 01:09 pm:        Cut the wires and tie them together, solder and seal them really good! If you dont the bike wont go anywhere.   Skully Posted on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 01:26 pm:        I did what New12r suggested but I did it on the kickstand side of the connector. That way, should you ever decide to reattach the kill switch, all you have to do is plug a new one in.
