I am getting a very intermitant error code for the O2 sensor. It will come on for about 15 secs then it goes off and may not come one again for 1/2 hour or so. It is the only error I'm getting and seems not to be affecting performance as my AFV is hovering nicely at around 100. I've checked for wire rub thru and connectivity but no apparent issues there. Could it have been I had a bad tank of gas? Just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms. |

could be the O2 sensor is getting ready to drop a duce. i had a car do that once. kept gettin a check engine light, but as soon as i took it somewhere it'd go out. after 4 or 5 tries it stayed on long enough for them to plug it in. |

wiggle test the harness while performing a continuity test to make sure its not the wiring. |

The O2 sensor is usually the victim not the culprit, however, from time to time an O2 sensor will fail and set a code. An intermittent open in the sensor could give you the symptoms you described. How many miles on the bike? If the mileage is starting to creep up there, it might not be a bad idea to replace it anyway. |
