I used a hairdryer, heated up the stickers and kind of rolled them off starting at one end and kept heating them as I went. No goo left and it took less than 10 mins! Of course I ended up half cooking my fingers with the heat! Birdy |

Mine also peeled right off. It was 100+ degrees at the time and my bike was only a couple months old at the time so that probably helped |

Have you no respect for big brother's concerns that we might injure ourselves? I bet y'all are in cahoots with those crazy counter culture SOB's that go around cutting off mattress tags too....... |

I seem to fall off every time I am reading the warning sticker as I ride along. Isn't litigation a wonderful thing? Sad that some people do not realise that bikes are different to cars. Who would have thought? Two less wheels shoudn't change anything...should it? |

I paid for my stickers, and I'm going to leave them on. Adds to the Bone Stock look of my bike. It may even increase resale value, so the next owner will have something to do to "improve" the bike. Hex |

I'm with Hex. But if you know someone in the A/V business a heatgun gets much hotter than a hairdryer. |

Can the same technique be used to remove the tank badges? I was going to do this over the weekend, but they were stuck on there pretty dern good. Then I didnt feel like getting the hairdryer. Then I saw this thread. +1 for warning decals. Mine came right off. Just like my fork reflectors. |

It can be used to remove the tank badges but, some have found that dental floss used as "saw" works better. Note if the badges have been on the tank for awhile, you may notice that the surrounding area has faded and you will still have the ghost of badges past! Neil S. |

Ccryder : some have found that dental floss used as "saw" works better. I used fishing line on mine only because I felt it was stronger. Then rub the boogies off with goo gone. |

I just hate those "boogies" ;+} WD40 works pretty good if Goo-B-gone is not available. Later |

Peel it then add "Sticker-Off". Its a spray on that gets rid of any decal residue. I use it to get rid of sponsor decals off my boat and truck windows. |

"It may even increase resale value, so the next owner will have something to do to "improve" the bike." You are correct. In 30 years, you're going to regret taking those stickers off. |

Buell should have a decal like McDonalds has a warning on their coffee..."CAUTION: THIS PRODUCT IS HOT" |

+1 on wd40 elbow grease. Thats what I used and it eventually worked out. +1 for ghost badges. They can only be seen at certain angle/light conditions. Looks pretty sweet. Cleaned it up some I thought. I don't regret taking them off, never will, cause I don't intend to part with her, just give her more stable mates. Also, I gained at least 3-5 ponys. This things hauls ass!!! my ass |
