I'm a soon to be XB12S owner. Went to my local Harley dealer and looked at the XB12S. Wow! It is such a beautiful bike. I test rode the XB9S and XB9R a couple of months ago and had no complaints about the power. Was not quite as powerful as my Suzuki Bandit 1200, but not much this side of a Hayabusa is. The workmanship and quality of details is really inspiring. Most of all it is just an exciting bike to look at. Very few new bikes stir the soul like a Buell. If you have only seen them in pictures, go look at one in person. I can almost guarantee that you'll think about buying it......well at least it made feel that way.

Yep, I agree completely. I saw a black 12S last Saturday and man o' man, the gold (amber) really goes well with the black. The grey frame looks good with the black plastic as well. The photos make it look blandish. Seeing it in real life gave me a minor heart murmur :)
