I'm thinking of buying a 12 crank for my 9. What's a decent price used and/or brand new?

Same question and application here. Last I heard, the crankshaft was $400-something, minus required bearings and seals/parts/tooling needed to split the cases and reassemble.

You want a 12 Motor?? Fresh rings and top end gaskets.

I will be in South Bend IN for the Thanksgiving holiday so I could bring it with me too!

Suburban Harley has one too. They quoted me 440.00, but they give 10% off the top (wish they all did that), so it would have been 400.00 less tax. They also said 5-6 hours labor to add the crank...roughly $1000.00 for the whole works.
