Did anyone notice that the cam cover is different in the '08 XBs? Does anyone know if there is a mechanical difference, or if it is just for looks? |

It looks a LOT like the one on the RR . I'm thinking they re-worked the cases. |

From the picture it appears that there may no longer be a CPS (camshaft position sensor). If so then the engine must have a CPS (crankshaft position sensor). The biggest difference, if this is the case, is that you will no longer be able to change your timing without software. The positive point is that the timing has to be right from the factory, if there is a CPS (crankshaft position sensor). |

Oil line in/ oil line out with pressure switch. It must be a repositioned oil pump. |

Check the Buell site (news). New timing. Also auto TPS zeroing. New oil system, bigger crankpin. |
