Buell will replace the oem muffler on my 07 XB12ss with a new oem muffler. Or put on a different type that falls within in the price range of the oem muffler. Or put on any muffler I want and if the price exceeds the oem price I am responsible for the difference. My question is:
What option should I take advantage of, and why?

Take advantage of the offer if you've got the cash. Everything you need to know about every aftermarket pipe is available here www.americansportbike.com. Take a look at the exhaust shootout results, but be prepared to wait a bit for the download and put some time in to reading it. There is a lot of info there.

The "factory" price range is not going to be much... So be prepared to put your hand deep into your pocket for any aftermarket solution.

I like to retain all stock parts regardless of the mods, just in case.
